MY TOP 10 MOVIES FROM HALLMARK'S FALL INTO LOVE...

Finally…Fall

Autumn is my absolute FAVORITE season.  The weather turns into the perfect not too hot not too cold temperature, the warm colors that bring beautiful landscapes and the crunch of leaves beneath your feet, the symbolic change, good comfort food, warm chunky sweaters and blankets, the holidays are on their way and hope is alive and well. 

	1. Growing the Big One 2010 Seattle radio talk-show host Emma Silver inherits Grandpa Walt's pumpkin farm in Valleyville. She didn't plan to respect his last will, which was to run the farm, but loses her job and is forced to accept hosting a new 'green' program. In order to keep it, she must pay off a $75,000 mortgage. To that end, she hopes to win the pumpkin-growing contest using grandpa's winning seed line and cultivation log. Neighbor Seth Cullen, the town's handyman (and actually a Stanford engineering graduate), has a hard time convincing her they need to team up. 	2. October Kiss 2015 Poppy Summerall is hired near Halloween as a temporary nanny by Ryan Lawson, a widowed, work-obsessed executive. Through a series of adventures, the eternally optimistic Poppy sets out to teach Ryan and his two young children what’s important in life – unconditional love, family and the joy of everyday occurrences. What I liked: I can watch it over and over again it's SO MUCH FUN! Get it on DVD, Stream it on Prime or read the book!

Harvest Love 2017 A young widow and her nine year-old son spend a week at her family’s pear farm in Washington state, where they both fall in love with small town farm life, and she falls for the guy who has been managing the farm. What I liked: Mom and son leave the big city shuffle behind.  Get it on DVD, stream it on Prime
	4. Harvest Moon 2015 When her family goes bankrupt, privileged city girl Jen Stone travels to the country to try and help a struggling pumpkin farm that her father bought as an investment to get her money back. Not everyone is on board with her changes, least of all Brett, the farm’s handsome manager. By working with what she knows best, she discovers the magic of pumpkin skincare and turns the struggling farm around while also falling in love. What I liked: Sorry that would be a spoiler. 	5. Love, of Course 2018 When widowed mother Amy moves her only daughter, Cara to her out-of-state college dorm, Amy finds herself searching for the next step in her life. While at the university, Amy gets an offer she can't refuse and meets Noah, a charismatic, well-traveled professor, and discovers a new life of her own.  What I liked: With adult children myself I can relate to Mama Amy. 	6. Love on a Limb 2016 Aimie Roarke (Williams) is always up for a cause, whether it's helping a local animal shelter or hosting a bake sale for the Fire Department. When the town's beloved oak tree is set to be cut down, she takes it upon herself try and save it. What I liked: Ashley Williams' acting in this is phenomenal. Get it on DVD or watch it on Prime.
	7. The Thanksgiving House 2013 aka Legally Tender Boston lawyer Mary inherits a house in Plymouth from her late aunt, she has no idea she may have inherited a historical treasure. Her slick boyfriend supports her desire to sell, but she soon discovers historian Everett Mather has evidence that her house may be the location of the first Thanksgiving! Mary clings to the house as an artifact of her own history before her happy childhood memories were tarnished by her father's abandonment. What I liked: A surprisingly different movie not the typical trope. Get it on DVD or watch it on Prime.

Falling for You 2018 While planning a fundraising event, a small New England town’s radio station manager meets her match in a visiting businessman who can’t seem to see beyond the screen of his laptop computer, until she ropes him into participating in her bachelor bake-off to help save the station. What I liked: With adult children myself I can relate to Mama Amy. Get it on DVD or watch it on Prime

	9. Roadhouse Romance 2021 Country music fan Callie is determined to continue her late grandfather's legacy. While TV director Luke is in town, he teaches her that sometimes it's best to look forward instead of back. What I like: It's Tyler Hynes people. Get it on DVD or watch it on Prime
	10. You Cast a Spell on Me aka A Kind of Magic 2015 Matt, the son of a prominent witch family, is expected by the Witches Council, to marry his good friend LIZZIE. But when Matt meets SARA, a psychiatrist, his magic fails him and Sara discovers that she suddenly has gained magical powers. Matt has agreed to an arranged marriage in order to save the family business, but when he suddenly falls for Sara, he must choose between duty and love. What I like: it's kinda campy with witches and warlocks... Get it onDVD or watch it on watch it on Prime
