Specifics are being kept as tight as a national secret but in a recent interview on NBC Powell(Lt. Jake 'Hangman' Seresin) confirmed “I mean I have a date.” that he indeed does have a start date for the next movie. Tom Cruise(Capt. Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell), Glen Powell(Lt. Jake ‘Hangman’ Seresin), Jennifer Connelly(Penny Bejamin), and Miles Teller(Lt. Bradley ‘Rooster’ Bradshaw) are set to return. Top Gun Maverick was the highest grossing film of 2022 in the US and Canada. I personally watched it multiple times in the theater and I’ve only done that with one other movie- Titanic in 1997. The original was my favorite movie for years and this one hit it out of the ball park. I’ll just leave you with this: “I feel the need…the need for speed.”
