UPDATED REVIEW OF HIS AND HERS PREMEIERS SEPT 7 ON HALLMARK

HIS AND HERS PREMIERING SEPTEMBER 7, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL

His and Hers movie poster

This was a good movie but definitely different. The main characters Mark(Brennan) and Dana(Lacey) are already happily married couple. Obviously, not the typical for a Hallmark movie. Lacey and Brennan are like sugar and spice, the perfect combo. There were many easter eggs referencing their past works sprinkled within the movie as well.

BUT if you’re looking for a full on FALL movie this doesn’t really hit the mark. It was like a Pumpkin Spice Zevia if such a thing existed. Minimalistic to the max??? Brown leaves on the trees, one reference to Christmas coming, a few orange throw pillows and box. I really wouldn’t put it in the Fall category myself.. LIke, is Die Hard a Christmas movie??? That’s a no for me. *wink*

There really wasn’t a big conflict in my opinion. Some angst and anxiety about being on the opposite sides of the courtroom and a few minor related things. The conflict just wasn’t there to me and it kind of leaves you wondering what’s the point here?

Still, all in all a good watch.

When love and law collide, sparks fly as Lacey Chabert (Haul Out the Holly, Mean Girls) and Brennan Elliott (Ms. Christmas Comes to Town, UnREAL) reunite in His & Hers, a new, original movie premiering Saturday, September 7 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual Fall into Love programming event.

Married couple Dana (Chabert) and Mark Chernich (Elliott) are both top-tier lawyers at competing New York City law firms. Their professional worlds collide, however, when they’re assigned as opposing counsel in a high-profile divorce case involving a famous reality TV couple. As they navigate the legal battles in court, their personal lives feel the strain. With their marriage on the line, Dana and Mark must rely on their wits, humor, and love for each other to make it through the case unscathed. Along the way, they rediscover the strength of their bond and gain a fresh perspective on both their careers and relationship. His & Hers is from Hallmark Media. Kristofer McNeeley is executive producer. The movie is produced by Charles Cooper. Robert Murdoch is line producer. Linda-Lisa Hayter directed from a script by Susan Black and Joie Botkin.
