Savannah (Power), a PR professional who works with non-profits, is expecting a promotion but gets unexpectedly laid off. Her best friend Teddy (Kathryn Drysdale, “Bridgerton”) , who’s the director of a riverboat cruise that is hosting a Rom-Com fan convention called KissCon, invites her to work with talent while on the cruise. Savannah isn’t too thrilled about working with celebrities but takes the temporary gig. She gets assigned to Tripp (Penny), an actor from Montana struggling with his newfound fame and connecting with fans. Savannah works with him during the cruise to improve his public persona and as they spend time together at events and on excursions, they begin to fall for each other. The two struggle with how they can have a relationship in the limelight, but with a grand gesture in front of all the fans, Tripp confesses his love. In the end, the two get together and Savannah decides to open her own PR firm and visit Montana with Tripp. As the story ends, the movie will introduce the heroes of the next film, boarding the Riverboat as Savannah and Tripp leave.
