	1. You've Got Mail 1998 Struggling boutique bookseller Kathleen Kelly(Meg Ryan) hates Joe Fox (Tom Hanks), the owner of a corporate Foxbooks chain store that just moved in across the street. When they meet online, however, they begin an intense and anonymous Internet romance, oblivious of each other's true identity. What I liked: The nostalgia. I found my love online too. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone 2001 Harry Potter, an 11 year old orphan discovers he's a wizard and is accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on his birthday.  Harry leaves behind life with his hateful Aunt, Uncle and Cousin The Dursleys for Hogwarts where he meets Ron and Hermione they go on adventures together and learn about Harry's family and the evil that threatens the wizarding world. Twilight 2008 Misfit Bella's mother remarries and Bella chooses to live with her father in the small rainy town of Forks, Washington.  She meets mysterious classmate Edward Cullen who later reveals himself to be a 108 year old vampire. What I liked: Books to movies are always my favorites. I've read them all, seen them all several times probably at least one a year since. Get it on DVD, watch it on Prime or read the book!
	4. Little Women 1994 WThe March sisters: responsible Meg, tempestuous Jo, tender Beth, and romantic Amy, are growing up in Concord, Massachusetts during and after the American Civil War. Their father is fighting in the war and, with their strong-willed mother, Marmee, they struggle with major and minor problems in 19th-century New England. What I liked:  Another book to movie.  I like the newer version as well this one is just the one I gravitate to during the season. Get it on DVD, watch it on Prime or read the book!
	6. Twitches 2005 Twin witches who were separated at birth and were adopted by two different families meet on their 21st birthday and must use their powers to save the world in which they were born, where their birth mother still lives. What I liked: Magic, twins reunited, portals to other worlds...good wins. Bonus! It's a book. Get it on DVD, watch it on Prime or read the book!

Halloweentown 1998 13 year old Marnie Piper discovers she's a witch on Halloween and is transported to the magical world of Halloweentown.  She joins her estranged Grandmother, Aggie there.  Her siblings Dylan and Sophie tag along to help save Halloweentown from an evil force.What I liked: Magic, portals to other worlds... good wins. 	7. It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown 1966 Charlie Brown and the Peanuts Gang celebrate Halloween while Linus and Sally wait for The Great Pumpkin. What I liked: it's a classic must watch. Get it on DVD or the Holiday Collection

COCO 2017 12 year old Miguel is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family and reverse their ban on music. What I liked: I've seen this about a million times this year. I love the story, the music and all the color. Get the BluRay or watch on Prime
	8. The Blind Side 2009 Michael , a homeless black teen, has drifted in and out of the school system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy and her husband, Sean, take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal guardians, transforming both his life and theirs.What I liked: It's a true story. Get the DVD, watch on Prime or read Michael's book!

Jim Henson's Turkey Hollow 2015 Ron, Tim and Annie Emmerson head to Aunt Cly's farm in Turkey Hollow for Thanksgiving.  With no technology to be found Tim and Annie quickly become bored and decide to track down the town's local moster legend the "Howling Hoodoo". Things get complicated when a neighbor frames their Aunt Cly for turkey theft and the family teams up to save Aunt Cly's farm. hat I liked:  It's quirky, fun and nostalgic. 	10. Miracle on 34th Street 1994 A remake of the classic.  Six year old Susan doesn't believe in Santa.  Her mother Dorey hires Kris Kringle to be Santa for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Kris claims to be the real Santa. His claims are met with skepticism but Susan, Dorey and a young lawyer defend him. Kris goes on trial and Susan, Dorey and Bryan learn about faith, family and the importance in believing. What I liked: I love how it transitions into the Christmas season. Get the DVD
