Reeling in the Years (Show title)
Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Your everlasting summer
And you can see it fading fast
So you grab a piece of something
That you think is gonna last
Well, you wouldn't even know a diamond
If you held it in your hand
The things you think are precious
I can't understand

[Chorus]

Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?
Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?

[Verse 2]

You been tellin' me you're a genius
Since you were seventeen
In all the time I've known you
I still don't know what you mean
The weekend at the college
Didn't turn out like you planned
The things that pass for knowledge
I can't understand

[Chorus]

Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?
Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?

[Instrumental Break 1:57-2:54]

[Guitar solo]

[Verse 3]

I spend a lot of money
And I spent a lot of time
The trip we made to Hollywood
Is etched upon my mind
After all the things we've done and seen
You find another man
The things you think are useless
I can't understand

[Chorus]

Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?
Are you reelin' in the years?
Stowin' away the time?
Are you gatherin' up the tears?
Have you had enough of mine?

[Instrumental Outro 3:38-4:36]

I can't stop this feeling

Deep inside of me

Girl, you just don't realize

What you do to me

When you hold me

In your arms so tight

You let me know

Everything's alright

I'm hooked on a feeling

I'm high on believing

That you're in love with me

Lips as sweet as candy

It's taste is on my mind

Girl, you got me thirsty

For another cup of wine

Got a bug from you girl

But I don't need no cure

I just stay a victim

If I can for sure

All the good love

When we're all alone

Keep it up girl

Yeah, you turn me on

I'm hooked on a feeling

I'm high on believing

That you're in love with me

All the good love

When we're all alone

Keep it up, girl

Yeah, you turn me on

I'm hooked on a feeling

I'm high on believing

That you're in love with me

I'm hooked on a feeling

And I'm high on believing

That you're in love with me

I said I'm hooked on a feeling

And I'm high on believing

That you're in love with me

I'm hooked on a feeling

Fare Thee Well

by Keith Power Music &
Alan Thomas Doyle

Won't you carry a part of my broken heart

As you slip from these cold hands of mine

For fate has devined and a Smuggler and Sprite

Are divided by water and time

Are divided by water and time

So you'll drift in your world while I wander mine

Now I sing what is too sad to tell

Though we loved you and me

We were never to be

So fare thee, fare thee well

Fare thee, fare thee well

So you carry a part of my broken heart

in yours when the waves call you home

For while I walk a shore I know I'll carry yours

and I take it wherever I roam

and I take it wherever I roam

So you'll' drift in your world while I wander mine

Now I sing what is too sad to tell

Though we loved you and me

We were never to be

So fare thee, fare thee well

By the Light of the Moon

by Keith Power Music &
Alan Thomas Doyle

This is a tale I'm sorry to tell

But draw near and I will tell you

Of when witches were hung for stealing the sun

And hung by the light of the moon, my love

And hung by the light of the moon

She was a healer or so she had said

My potions and tonics are true

But when fields went a-fallow

she was led to the gallows

That loomed by the light of the moon, my love

That loomed by the light of the moon

When her hanging rope tightened

The witch did not look frightened

For the night went as dark as a tomb

And when moonlight came back

The noose just hung slack

She was gone by the light of the moon, my love

She was gone by the light of the moon
